When we worship God, we can't help but express our gratitude and love for Him
through Outward signs of service and ministry. We want to use all of our
gifts and talents in His service. Two specific ways our outward ministry
is manifest is through Evangelism and Missions.
Evangelism
The nature of the Christian expresses itself in the altruism
of the Spirit called evangelistic outreach. New life cannot
long exist in the solitary. The church that concentrates on polishing its own
furniture could be dying or is already dead. The Good Shepherd did not merely
medicate or feed the lost sheep, He brought it home. Spirit filled Christians
are equipped to be "witnesses unto me." Some of these are gifted
to be "evangelists." The rest are called to support them. Our goal is
to help identify the gifted, train and coordinate their service. The result is
"new creatures" who have "found the Way."
