As we Worship, we are drawn deeper into relation with God and with other
Christians. This nurturing relationship is expressed through Education and Fellowship.
Education
It is the mission of the Education Ministry Team to minister to the faith community by:
- Providing an opportunity for all people to have a quality Christian
educational experience;
- Understanding that not all people learn in the same way, we will work to
provide a variety of forums where education can take place, including (but
not limited to) Book Study groups, Bible studies for all ages, Discussion
groups as well as the traditional Sunday School class;
- Providing opportunities of learning for people who are at different
points of the spiritual walk and
- Being flexible so that we might provide other opportunities that arise.
Fellowship
Christian Fellowship
is sharing the bond of Jesus Christ. Christians are not meant to be
solitary beings. We're meant to share the Christian experience, the
Christian love for each other, and the Christian support for each other during
tough times.
One of
the best ways to know and understand Jesus is through Christian Fellowship.
The Christian fellowship team will prayerfully probe ways to grow and nurture
this fellowship; borrowing successful programs from
other Christian bodies, and developing others unique to the Cape Elizabeth
Church of the Nazarene.
