Upward in Worship!
In worship, our focus is not on ourselves, but on God. We don't dwell
on either our successes or our failures, but on the grace of the One who calls
and sustains us. Worship is the total abandonment of all we are to His
greater glory.
Our worship services are blended in nature, drawing from the best
of early Christian Tradition and some of the insight from contemporary worship
traditions. In our worship service, we set the tone for the week to come,
recognizing that we are to give of our all, all the time!
We'd love to have
you come join us for a worship service. If you come expecting God to do
great things in your life, He's sure to meet with you during our time together.
All
I am, All I have, All I ever hope to be;
I now and forever dedicate to the Lord Jesus Christ
for His use and glory,
absolutely, unconditionally, now and forever!
Prayer:
Prayer is active dialogue with God. In prayer we voice our concerns,
our burdens, our words of gratitude and thanksgiving to our Living God.
Yet prayer is more than talking for it also involves contemplation and
listening. This open dialogue and communication with God needs to be as
natural for the Christian as is breathing.
The prayer ministry seeks to teach, train and assist persons in
developing an on-going life of prayer. This is, at times, accomplished
through study and teaching. However, the best way to learn to pray is to
pray. Remember, there are no certain formulas or magic words -- just words
from one’s heart!
