Being the People of God in a Foreign Land – November 6, 2016

“Being the People of God in a Foreign Land”
Text: Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7
The book of Jeremiah documents the time before and during the Babylonian Exile when the lives of the Judeans changed dramatically.  Their situation has often been compared to ours in the present day.  Pastor Shane Ross from the South Portland Church of the Nazarene examines this comparison and suggests that we can live in the hope and promises of God, even when surrounded by the hopelessness of secularism of today’s world.
