Hebrews 4:14-5:10
We resume our study of the book of Hebrews with the description of Jesus as the Great High Priest. Christ is one who has walked in our shoes and knows everything about us, every weakness and strength. His throne is not one of judgment, condescension, or anger but instead one of grace, help, strength, and comfort. His sole purpose is to bring salvation and forgiveness to us and always welcomes us to approach Him. One way to accomplish is through prayer, which is an important and necessary part of our spiritual formation both a church and individually as we seek to be who God would want us to be.
