“If the House Burns Down Tonight”
Text: 1 Timothy 6:6-19
Rev. Kelly Beecher, Associate Pastor of the Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Wells, joins us this week while Pastor Brent is away.  The subjects of wealth and possessions are often mentioned in the Scriptures.  In 1 Timothy, Paul tells Timothy that “godliness with contentment is great gain.”  What is godliness?  It includes knowledge, reverence, love, dependence, submission, gratitude, and obedience.  Contentment comes from realizing that God cares for our needs.  Ultimately, God wants our heart, not our stuff.
