Mark 13:1-8, 24-31 – November 14, 2021

Text: Mark 13 : 1-8, 24-31
As we continue our look at the Gospel of Mark, we find that Jesus has reached Jerusalem. Predicting great suffering and the destruction of the temple, Jesus also quotes Isaiah in speaking of the Son of Man coming with glory. When our world starts to crumble and the familiar things of life fade away, we must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ. He is the one who is eternally elevated to the presence of God and His spirit still descends in the midst of our world, even when it seems like things might crumble around us.
