Text: Matthew 16:13-20
“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” One of the earliest confessions of Jesus as Lord and Messiah came from Peter in Matthew 16. We are to continue the Disciples’ work of confessing Jesus as Lord and sharing His love with others in a world full of people who do not recognize Him. Through our confession and love, we help loosen their bond to sin so that they too may confess along side us.
