Text: Matthew 2:1-12
In the story following the birth of Jesus, the Magi came from another realm with a completely different worldview then that of the Jews. Nevertheless, God decided to work through their false ideas of staring at the stars to reveal to them a divine truth. God was willing to save them and bring them to Jesus despite their own false beliefs. Just as Jesus originally came to a particular time and culture speaking their language, God will meet us where we are and can help us overcome our own false ideas.
