“Restoring Faith: Finding Joy in the Lord”
Text: Nehemiah 8:1-12
In our third week of the “Restoring Faith” series, we move to the book of Nehemiah. In this passage, the people of God are told to not to grieve after the Book of Law was read, but instead to celebrate with joy. Pastor Tim suggests that living with the joy of the Lord is key to having a faith that is growing in God. It is not a forced sense of joy but instead arises out of the conviction that our God is always moving with us through the fires and directing us to a better and more faithful place in our life.
