“Sacrifices: Christ”
Text: Hebrews 9:11-28
We often associate the sacrifice of Jesus’ life with an angry God, caused by the guilt of our sin, however this is not the case. We should realize that through this sacrifice, God has made the first move towards us. Our God has always wanted us to draw near to him and He invites us to live in His grace. The death and resurrection of Jesus only solidifies God’s covenant with us because Jesus, who was as broken and defeated as we might ever be, is in Heaven mediating on our behalf.
