Solomon’s request for wisdom (an understanding and discerning heart) provides an example of one who understands the difference between needs and wants, as well as an example of faith that helps us in our own stewardship decisions. If we seek God’s Kingdom first, we will have no need of worrying about the material concerns of this world.
