Spring Training: Take Up Your Cross

Pastor Jon continues our Lenten “Spring Training for the Soul” with a look at Peter’s confession, and Jesus teaching on “taking up our cross.” A simple head knowledge of the right answers is not enough for salvation. It is not enough to simply know what the Rabbi knows, we must learn to be like the Rabbi, and to follow Him so closely that we are covered with the dust of His sandals. The call of the Rabbi is to deny yourself, to take up your cross, and follow Him.
