“The Father’s Love”
Text: Luke 15:11-32
Rev. Paul Vail joins us this week. While Luke 15:11-32 is often referred to as the “Parable of the Prodigal Son,” Rev. Vail suggests it may be better described as the “Parable of the Father’s Love.” Just as the father in the parable gives his returning son gifts out of love, so God does with those that turn to Him. God does not call us to a life of drudgery, but of joy – giving us the robe of Life, the ring of Sonship, and sandals of Service as signs of His love.
