“Christmas Prophecy: Hope”
Text: Isaiah 9:1-7
As we enter the Christmas season, we continue to look at the words of the Old Testament prophets. This week, we examine Isaiah, who presents a message of hope to the people of Israel in the midst of darkness. Could they have dared to hope for what he shared; that the God who has promised to never leave or forsake them will still be faithful to his promise? Similarly, do we dare to continue to live in the hope and expectation of God’s peace and joy in this world?
