Follow Me…And Come Forth From the Tomb

Texts: Psalm 150; Psalm 137; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Romans 8:6-11; John 11:1-45

The texts this week lead us to consider the “very dry” bones in Ezekiel, and the “very dead” Lazarus in John. When we realize that these are not simply hopeless situations, but have moved “beyond all hope,” we are reminded that for God, there is no such thing as “beyond all hope.” God can bring hope into our hopelessness, life into death, and joy into our sadness. As we “come forth from the tomb,” may we be living testimonies of God’s grace in a world full of dry bones.
