“FOR: Spreading the Gospel/Missions”
Text: Acts 17:16-34
Our sermon series on the things the Church is for continues. When in Athens, Paul stops speaking in just the language of the Jews and God-fearing Greeks would know. Instead, he borrows from the culture around him to talk about God in terms that his audience would understand. When we hear the doubts and questions of others around us, part of how we share the Gospel is respecting and entering into the world where they are at while telling them that God has a plan for them.
