What’s God like? Is God violent? Does God dangle sinners over a fire toying with them? No! God is the one who has spread out arms of compassion and mercy saying “sinner, come home! My child who was dead is now alive!” God is a loving God who takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but longs for all to repent and turn back.
