“Open Invitation”
Text: Luke 13:10-17
When Jesus healed a crippled woman on the Sabbath day, the ruler of the synagogue indignantly told the people to come another day for healing, as there were six days for work.  Jesus showed that the Sabbath is not about rules or regulations, but release.  This invitation to be released by the grace of God is not restricted to certain people or to a particular part of the week.  Many churches today try to limit the invitation to experience God.  As Christians, our primary task is not to change other people, but to ensure that all have the opportunity to engage and interact with the God who will challenge and change them into the image of His Son.
