“Sacrifices: Passover and Remembrance”
Text: Exodus 12:1-28
There are certain days on the calendar where we stop what we are doing, remember, and celebrate. This week, we study the story of the first Passover, which marked the start of the fulfillment of the covenant between God and Abram. Through the sharing of the sacrificial lambs amongst God’s people, their story of liberation is also a story of equality – all are welcome into God’s saving plan. We are called to use what God has given to us to share His love and grace with whomever he calls and makes our neighbor.
