“When in Rome… Bless”
Text: Romans 12:14-13:7
In the second week of a series on Paul’s letter to the Romans, Pastor Tim provides historical context for the time in which the letter was written. Paul’s call to overcome evil with good and to bless those who persecute you in chapter 12 is tied to what directly follows in chapter 13 about the government. Jesus – who lived and died among us – loved, forgave, and blessed; even when the government sent Him to the cross. So too must we be faithful to follow Jesus all the way to the cross.
