“When in Rome… Love”
Text: Romans 9:1-12
As Christians who live in this world, how are we ultimately called to live? Today we began a new sermon series on the book of Romans. The book was written by Paul for early Christians living in Rome, and describes the core of their faith, the promise of salvation, and how they should live in a city that is not fully Christian. Paul calls the people to love. We have this same call today – the Spirit of God will empower us to faithfulness and acts of love towards the world around us.
